Comprehensive Service List

Before the procedure, a consultation is recommended to discuss the process and help ease any concerns. Specific limitations of treatment and advantages will be determined. Recovery time, duration of treatment effects, and results will be explained.

Neurotoxin Injections

"Tox" a.k.a. the wrinkle relaxer, is a neurotoxin that temporarily paralyzes facial muscles for 3 to 4 months in most. Depending on the individual, it can be effective for more or less time. This makes wrinkles less apparent and softens them through muscle atrophy over time, requiring less neurotoxin.

Pictures are taken before the procedure. The injector will have the client perform facial expressions to identify the margins of muscle groups. A skin pen is then used to mark the injection areas based on the location of the muscles. After injection, an aluminum ice stick is lightly applied to decrease inflammation post-injection. Aftercare instructions are provided to allow for the best possible results.

A 1-2 week follow-up appointment is advised for post-treatment pictures to show treatment effects and for touch-ups as needed.

Dermal Filler Injections

Fillers used by Siren Medical Aesthetics are composed of hyaluronic acid, which our bodies naturally produce. As we age, our production of HA decreases, causing wrinkles and loss of hydration. Replacing the lost HA improves volume and moisture and maintains elasticity. Before the injection of filler, topical benzocaine, lidocaine, and tetracaine cream (BTL) is applied to the treatment area for approximately 15 minutes.

Pictures are taken before the procedure.

Aftercare instructions are provided to allow for the best possible results.

A 2-week follow-up appointment is recommended for post-treatment images.

SMA is certified to provide dental blocks for numbing.

Other types of temporary dermal filler not provided at SMA are Sculptra (poly-L-lactic acid [PLLA]) and Radiesse ( calcium hydroxylapatite [CaHA]).

Cosmetic Skin Tag Removal

Small skin tags are non-dangerous growths. Alyssa, ARNP can remove skin tags 1 to 5mm long by excision. Tags larger or that have concerning characteristics should be biopsied by a dermatologist and sent to pathology. The growth will be numbed with lidocaine injections and then removed with surgical scissors or a dermal blade. If needed post-procedure, a solution can be applied to stop bleeding.

Please inform the provider if you have an allergy to lidocaine or epinephrine to allow adequate time for obtaining supplies.

Aftercare instructions are provided to allow for the best possible results.

Follow-up is as needed.
